After sleeping in we left Anoye around 8:15 approximately half an hour later than intended.

For a village with no facilities the accommodation was excellent providing a full kitchen and a well stocked refrigerator where you put money into a box for any of the supplies use.

While the walk started with a short uphill the majority of today was reasonably flat traversing the now usual farm land with cereal crops and oak forest. While some of the walk was on small country roads, a reasonable percentage was on small tracks either winding through the forest or around edges of agricultural land.

Unusually we did not pass any churches until our arrival in Morlaas.

The route today was well marked and easy to follow and there were no navigation disasters although the weather was hotter than we would have liked.

As today is Sunday, very little is open although we do hope to be able to find a meal somewhere this evening.
