Hotel Pilar Plaza, Zaragoza, 14 September 2025

Today we left our hotel at 8:30am and headed down past the Estacion to find our first breakfast in Spain. For myself and Judy it was tostada with coffee while Paul and Jane kept with the usual croissant.

After breakfast we continued down the Rio Aragon to Canfranc Pubelo where we took a short before continuing on to Villanúa where we completed our walk.

From Villanua we caught a bus to Jaca, had drinks and lunch before catching another bus to Zaragoza.

All up we have walked in excess of 300 kilometres starting in Toulouse, with rest days in Auch and Pau before crossing the Pyrenees into Spain at Col do Somport.

For the most part the weather was cool and pleasant with little rain. Today has been the hottest day encountered with the temperature reaching 31 degrees in Zaragoza.
