We started the day with a trip to the Post Office to send our excess baggage to Zaragoza in Spain. The only issue was the paperwork which was rejected because Jane used a red pen (supplied by the Post Master) and it had to be in black ink! Twenty minutes later the documentation was completed in the correct colour.

We then had breakfast in the little bakery where we ate yesterday before returning to our hotel, packed and checked out.

Our next move was to the Metro Station and obtained tickets to Saint Martin du Touch where we were to continue our walk from yesterday. While on the train we discovered that it didn’t stop there so we ended up at Colomiers.

Before commencing our walk we did a few circles around Colomiers looking for a supermarket and the way out of town.

The route is marked but not as well as other routes that we have walked and navigation was a mixture Maim Maim Do Do, Goggle Maps and my GPS track.

Eventually we arrived in Pibrac where we had lunch sitting outside the church dedicated to Saint Germaine, were able to have our credentials stamped. Jane narrowly avoided having her glasses stolen by local woman who removed them from Jane’s head to try them on herself.

Saint Germain is a big deal in Pibrac with both a church and Basilique dedicated to her.

Leaving Pibrac we had a further 7 kilometres to walk to Leguevin mostly following the rail line which was not very interesting.

All up today we walked around 14 kilometres.
