We started the day later than usual due to breakfast not being available until 8:30. Notwithstanding it was worth the wait with good coffee and an excellent choices of yoghurts, fruits, cheeses , cold meats and breads.

After the obligatory visit to the Boulangerie we finally headed out of the village an hour later than usual.

Today the walking was mainly in a large valley although without the usual panoramic views that we had encountered previously. On our walk we passed two churches (closed as usual) although we did encounter another four pilgrims.

Tonight we are staying in another smaller village in a house owned by the head of the local chamber of commerce. He and his wife were born in Reunion (an island in the Indian Ocean which is a French department) and came to France 10 years ago. He has escorted us to the local bars and brought beers at the pizza restaurant across from the accommodation.

We also visited an antique shop that is in a building with a collapsed roof. The amount of dust surpassed the 20 years of grime accumulated by Edna where we stayed three nights ago.
