Yesterday afternoon was spent catching up on some much needed washing.
Today after a sleep in we walked tha walls around Lugo. They were built by the Roman’s in the third century and surround the old town. The walk to circumnavigate the city is 2.2 kilometres.
Today is the first day when it has been comfortable to sit outside, consequently after our self guided wall tour we found a bar with nice sunny seating and then had a couple of drinks.
We then visited the cathedral (no photos allowed) and obtained stamps for our credentials. Form here to Santiago, we have to obtain a least 2 stamps per day in order receive our Compostela’s.
After the usual Spanish late lunch, we have returned to our accommodation for a much needed siesta.

Lugo looks very interesting, love the wall around the city. Keep up the good work, once again great photos John. Cheers Mal.
